A portrait and an inscription can be made on a granite plate. On natural boulders, due to the uneven surface, only letter engraving and simple logos (e.g. paw print) are possible.

Yes, the engraving is forged in natural stone (granite), which ensures very high durability and resistance to weather conditions.

Granite is a natural, very hard stone that withstands frost, rain and sun for many years without cracking or flaking. Concrete is cheaper to produce, but it absorbs water, eventually cracks, fades and grows algae, and an engraved inscription or portrait loses definition sooner. A memorial standing in a garden or at a pet cemetery should last for years, which is why we make ours from granite, where the engraving stays legible.
