🔧 Mounting the oval plaque on a headstone
The plaque arrives with professional double-sided tape already factory-applied — you don't need to buy or apply any adhesive yourself. Simply attach the plaque and additionally seal its edge with silicone, so that water cannot get in between the main slab and the engraved plaque.
- Surface preparation: clean and degrease the mounting area on the headstone or memorial.
- Remove the protective film: peel the protective film off the factory-applied double-sided tape on the back of the plaque.
- Positioning: press the plaque onto the surface, checking that it is level.
- Seal the edge: apply stone silicone close to the edge of the plaque, so that water cannot get between the main slab and the engraved plaque.
- Curing: wait around 24 hours before the plaque is exposed to weather conditions.
