Every portrait is applied using the diamond (impact) technique, which physically embeds it into the stone's structure. This engraving does not "disappear" after rain and resists chemical cleaning. Lettering is sandblasted deep into the granite, giving it a noble, three-dimensional character.
Mounting in 4 Steps
Thanks to the included granite wedge, the heart is mounted at an angle — this improves the monument's aesthetics and prevents water from pooling on the engraved surface.
- Prepare: clean and degrease the surface of the memorial slab and the underside of the wedge.
- Apply: spread stone-grade silicone on the upper, angled face of the wedge.
- Position: press the heart onto the wedge, adjusting before the silicone sets.
- Cure: leave undisturbed for 24 hours so the bond fully sets.
